One of our recent graduates from our Work 4 A Living course has an inspiring story of hope and of a family changed.
23-year-old Sheldon has been unemployed for the last 2 years and no one in his household currently has a job.
For the past 2 weeks, he joined and completed our W4AL course having heard about it from a friend of a friend.
After learning the content, completing the course, and waiting to graduate, he began applying for jobs.
By his graduation on Friday, he had interviews set up for the following week. By the end of the following Tuesday, he came in to tell us that he had got a job and that we were like a family to him, so he wanted us to be the first people he told the great news to! Next, his dad signed up to do the next course.
When we first met him, Sheldon was down and burdened, but now he has a real sense of joy, happiness, and excitement about him. We are so happy for you, Sheldon!
